Seeking men or women looking for new and challenging opportunities to become a member of a team dedicated to publishing Newsletters of the equally high caliber as those created and distributed by Eric Perlman and Mike Faulk for the last 2 years. Interested persons should possess at least one, some, or all of the following characteristics: A commitment to devote at least five (5) hours per month to obtain information about Chapter activities and to write news articles for the Newsletter. An understanding that good writing skills are not necessarily required to join the staff of the Chapter Newsletter. Editing will be provided. A desire to research information printed in other Newsletters, and to decide what information might be useful to members of Chapter 1036. A belief that the most gratifying Chapter activities are created by team work. A commitment to submit copy in a timely manner in order to make the newsletter available to Board members who proofread content and provide corrections or ask questions prior to publication. A belief that all members of the team have value and that practicing good communication skills creates an understanding of each other. Additional Information: A working knowledge of or a willingness to learn functions of Microsoft Word used to format the Newsletter and to prepare it for publication is a critical need. More than one (1) person is needed to fill each function of the Newsletter.
