Volunteers Needed,
We are hoping for a Minimum of 30 Participants for this German - Italian Heritage Day Parade on October 13th In Spanish Springs, which kicks off at 3:00 pm behind the old (use to be )Movie Theatre’s parking lot!!
The VVA 1036 C.G. flag carriers will lead our chapter members.
The parade will stage in the big parking lot behind the theater.
There will be porta-potties in the lot .
The Color Guard uniform will be our dress uniform, which is:
Glossy black shoes, black socks, black pants w/yellow stripes, khaki military web belt w/ brass buckle, dress white military shirt (expect short sleeve, but have long sleeve available in case the weather turns colder - I'll advise prior if we have to change), yellow cravat, yellow shoulder cord on left, name badge above right breast pocket, personal ribbons and badges above left breast pocket and white gloves.
All other chapter members are asked to wear their VVA 1036 shirt.
This is Less than a Mile at a very Slow Pace.
For those with limited capabilities we can Prove Golf Cart Passes but we need to know soon to ensure ourselves of getting as many as Required!!
Please remember, we need to support our Chapter at these Parades, so we NEED your Support in order to do so!
